Raku Sushi & Lounge | WEST END

Wow! Speechless. This place is hands down the best Japanese place I have been to. I’ve been to a lot of places but here, you get that feeling when you walk in of calm mood and relaxation. The seating is comfortable like you you’re at home. Well, actually this is more comfortable than home. Dim lights, candles, sweet calm music, authentic art, tasty food, properly prepared sushi dishes and drinks. Wow! I can’t say enough. I have many friends that told me to try this place but I kept brushing it off until now and I regret not racing here before. This place makes a great dinner and drinks, family quick bite or even that late night dinner with your significant other. I am surprised at the rating as it’s worth 6 stars in my opinion but again it’s just my opinion based off my experience here. I am usually skeptical about eating sushi but Raku made it possible for me to enjoy sushi in many different flavors with ease. I give it a two thumbs up and hands down the best Japanese eatery. Delicious sushi at a good price. Our waitress disappeared at the end of our meal, so we had to track her down. Otherwise everything else was excellent!

When you first walk in the front door you get a sense that this place is going to be good. The seating is good and there are special seats where your feet go under the table. The food is AMAZING! The food is very fresh and you can see it being prepared right in front of you. The staff are very nice.

Great place, cool atmosphere, usually quick service even when busy, and is a fair price compared to other sushi places.
