Lounge: Great food, cocktails, and easy-going. Baked Alaska dessert was superb. Restaurant: absolutely fantastic food and wine pairing. Lovely service.

Creative and elegant French style cooking. tip: if you can't get reservation at restaurant, they have a bar/lounge next door that serves entire menu if you so desire. It's a great way to sample what they have. Great place for date/romantic evening, special event. Private dining room in the back.

This is the finest restaurant in San Francisco. Beautiful delicious food and superb service.

The food was ok, however we've had much better for much less. Service was amazing, seating was so so. Expect to be there for over 2 hours if you're getting the 5 course meal. My advice is spend a little more and take a drive up to French Laundry. I know we will be next time.

Beautiful meal and wonderful service. The only criticism I have was the building had a strange odor, almost fishy? That was a bit off putting.
