The service was excellent. The desserts were delicious as we were only there for afternoon dessert and tea! This was our first time here, yet since they didn’t have any seating available inside, we chose to sit outside and enjoy.
Once we got our bill, there was an extra service charge of 20% in lieu of tips because that is how they compensate all of their service staff. The dessert menu never indicated they did a 20% service charge in addition. The server proceeded to tell us many customers have complained about this service as we are actually forced to give 20% instead of whatever amount of tip we would to give for the services. It is my custom to always give 20%, but when one is forced, it is never the case. Additionally, when I suggested to the manager they increase the prices for the menu, she indicated that would scare off the customers because of the high price of the menu. Please be honest with your customers up front, even including this information on the dessert menus.
Obviously, you have lost a fist time customer who will never come because of your shady practices, not because of your food.

Amazing food. Very high quality French fusion style cuisine. Love the atmosphere here. It's casual but very smart. Great place for a date night. Cocktails are fantastic.

We had Amazing dinner. Staff is accommodating. I love my caviar and caviar was amazing, champagne, cocktails, wine was really good. Frog legs, salmon and rabbit leg! It’s worth a try, the place itself looks and feels very much New York. Great time:)

Honestly this place was okay. It wasn't the best experience I had. I came here for a friend's birthday. First of all it is located inside the Culinary Institute so it can be tricky to find if you didn't know that. When I got there the parking lot was full. I had to drive out and park on another parking lot on the side. When I got inside the double automatic doors I was immediately greeted by the front desk. She was kind enough to lead me to the restaurant. The place was pretty interesting. You get to see some of the students work station aka the huge kitchen.

High expectation going in but a bit disappointed coming out mainly because the service did not match the automatic 20% service charge. Our server was cold. The restaurant seems under staff on a Saturday night. I want to get some bread, but no one was around or looked our way even I raised my hand waving for attention for a good few minutes. When I needed help, there was none, but when I was in a conversation with my friend and didn't want interruption, they always came to ask if I needed anything. If I came for a value meal, perhaps good service is not needed but, hey, the bill automatically added 20% service charge I had to pay for. I expect the service to match that. Service wise is definitely 2 or 3. Appetizer was delicious but not impressive. Main course, quail, was really good though. The price will let you know as well. Overall, decent experience for food, poor experience for service. I don't think I would go again. There're too many better options. Oh, avoid ordering the escargot.
