Rendez-Vous Café Bistro

Good food at a reasonable price. We particularly like the steak and frite - juicy, tender and perfectly cooked to order. We also appreciate that portions are not huge. Good place for a meal before going to the movies.

I have been going here for a long time but I have never stopped to write a review. This place is always busy and worth the wait. The classic sole meuniere is always pleasing , as is the steak frites. And of course the profiteroles. A reminder of past trips to Paris, this is like a good neighborhood cafe, better than some of the pretentious ones on the Blvd. St. Germain! A great place to relax and not be hurried out. You don't have to leave home to eat like you are in Paris on holiday! Wait staff don't intrude and are friendly, heads up you will have to ask for the check...just like in France. 1st of June we came here again tonight and it just never disappoints!!!!. I highly recommend this neighborhood Bistro joint!!! The last time I was here I tried their lunch menu with my mother-in-law. She had the steak frites. She shared a few bites with me and that proved to be one of the best I've had in my lifetime.

Enjoyed coming here with my family. The atmosphere is nice but not too formal for walk ins. We were very happy with the food -- I heartily recommend the Daube.

We each got the omelette where you can choose up to 6 items, comes with toast (white, wheat or English muffin) & potatoes. Really good cappuccinos - thick, luscious foam! Everything was tasty & well seasoned with flavored. Excellent service.

The food was very good and service good (a little slow). It is French and lots if dairy products, no milk substitute (almond milk, etc), so just for people to know that!
