La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant

We stopped in here during our one night visit to Savannah. This restaurant is located in a mall, but parking was easy on the Friday night we visited. We asked for a booth, so had to wait a few minutes for that. Once seated it seemed to take longer than it should have for someone to take our drink orders. A lady dropped some chips and salsa off at our table though. I didn't have any, but hubby said they were good. A waitress eventually came over to take our drink orders. I guess she was helping out the other waitress, but she was a little on the snippy side. The menu itself is very large and there are a ton of choices. Prices are OK. Food seemed decently priced, drinks were a smidge on the high side. The food did come out quickly. I liked my margarita. For three adults, with a Diet Coke and two 20 ounce margaritas, two meals and an appetizer it came to $48ish.

The food is great. We love the salsa (wish they provided larger bowls). Tableside guacamole is delicious and a must-order every visit. They are more expensive than our locally owned favorite Mexican restaurant, Jalapenos. It is loud. They have a large bar. Seating available outdoors. Sometimes there is s wait, but it moves fast and is usually worth the wait.

Great atmosphere. Good service. My rating of 3 stars is because I feel they use too much salt in their food. And on one occasion someone came into the restaurant with a small sign asking you to give them money. Nobody enjoys being approached that way while they are eating salty food...lol

This is the 1st time my husband and I ate there. Awesome Mexican food. Super customer service. We will definitely go back.

Amazing food and service. Everything is always cooked to perfection! You get a lot of food for the price. They have a wide variety of menu options including vegetarian and vegan friendly meal choices.
