Lake End Park

One of the most Beautiful parks in Louisiana. Pop tents, lots of camper spaces, houseboat slots, cabins to rent by the lake. Boat launching. A beach. Its amazing. Sitting under moss covered oaks feeding the squirrels. A must see and do❤

I grew up around this park. Some of us call it The Old Lake. It use to be wide open and free to get in. Had so many big beautiful trees. It's still a big beautiful place just now we have showers and bathrooms there. Really love it there.

Lake End Park is very nice, clean and it was almost full this weekend. Our neighbors were great. Everyone was shut down by 10:30 PM. We were still enjoying our fire outside in the cool night air. The police would pass every night as security! In daytime they would pass on 4wheelers. All the workers would wave when passing and at checkin at the office they were very nice! No issues, we will camp again soon! Plenty of squirrels and some ducks came visit Sunday evening and Monday morning it was kool.

It is a wonderful place to visit. We go very often to feed the seagulls, the squirrels and the ducks. Sometimes we go with some Friends and bring the barbecue pit and share some food at this beautiful Park. And many times we went fishing too.

We stayed in the newest cabin. Two bedrooms with two full bathrooms. A bunk bed and full size bed in one room, a queen sized bed in the master suit and a queen sofa bed in the living room was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. Both the upstairs and downstairs porches are screened and great for spending the afternoon outdoors without being eaten alive by mosquitos. The cabin was easy to book by calling the main office number. The first night rental is held as a deposit from a major credit card or debit card. The balance is due at the time of check in and can be paid in cash. Mrs. Debbie at the main office was great, helpful and friendly. There is always staff on site. The area felt safe and secure as I did notice periodic police patrol. The lake is clean. We did a bit of fishing. Caught a few catfish. Remember to have your recreational fishing license if you plan to do any fishing. Overall, the stay was perfect for a 3 day weekend get away. There are several grocery stores nearby a long with a full Wal-Mart a few miles away.
