Lake Hudson Recreation Area

No attendants on duty, no camp host and no dump station. Sites are grassy, no gravel and your electric service is going to be more than 30ft away. No water. We left when some sketchy looking guys in a beat up Cadillac asked us what site we were staying at. We had no idea who they were or why they asking so we left. 10/10 would never return.

Very large park that offers a beach, hunting and fishing and a campground! Lots of space for all kids, young and old, to get into something fun! Only thing missing is a play ground area for the kids!

The only thing missing is some kind of a play area in the camping area! Stayed many times and always a great time!

Favorite near home getaway. When you need to reset yourself with nature, I find it the best and close to home.
