I traveled over an hour to visit LaMar's Donuts (Based off the reviews). My first experience was a pleasant joy. The manager was wonderful, the donuts were delicious, and they had an excellent price value. However, today is my second visit and at 11 a.m. they are all out of any type of major donuts (they were even out of glaze). I understand majority of donuts are more popular than others. I do not understand (if this location stays open till 2 p.m.) why they do not make more donuts to keep up with the demand the crowds bring in. I had to substitute my favorite donuts for a few basic flavors (they only had a selection of seven to choose from). First experience was wonderful- second experience not so great.

Best donuts in Kansas City! Great variety of donuts to buy too, but don't expect them to have much more than glazed if you show up 30 minutes before they close. Seriously great food at cheap prices though, plus they offer a big selection of drinks like coffee, milk, juice, and soda.

Great variety of doughnuts made fresh every morning can't beat the flavor selection . Grab a coffee and your favorite seat then sit on down and dig in to a treat. The staff is great with there good manners and constant hustle is an overall  nice pleasant atmosphere. I'd highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

The best cinnamon twists!!! The staff was so helpful, friendly and patient while I tried to decide what to pick and glady answered all questions.

I definitely can say for a fact that an unfilled Lamar’s Long John is my favorite donut in the universe and I crave this more often than I would like to admit. If you are from out of town, you definitely have to experience the Kansas City famous Lamar’s! They have been around for decades and we love them!
