Lamey-Wellehan Shoes - Scarborough

Although the store was busy I was serviced quickly by friendly and knowledgable staff including the manager on duty today. They understood their products and provided an enjoyable experience. Most of all, everyone was very patient with me despite my indecisiveness. Based on my professional experience in sales I would say L-W Shoes nailed the customer experience. Their rating of only 3.6 seems undeserved. Nothing will ever be perfect but leaving angry 1-star reviews is incredibly harmful to local businesses unless it is rightfully due. Judge responsibly.

Went in on a whim before work. In and out in 25 minutes. Described my job situation, they suggested a few pairs, measured and scanned for size and inserts, got a great pair on sale, and my feet feel amazing. Was an awesome shoe buying experience. Really won't get this at a department store. Thanks to David for helping me out!

The service here is awful, I don't mean all of the employees, but one in particular. I will never shop here again. I wish I could remember this woman's name, she is the older, short, woman who works here. Whenever we go in here, she treats us awful. She is always rude. This last time I went, she actually started helping me and then walked away and helped someone else, without bringing me pair of shoes. I wear an 8 - 8.5 and she kept insisting I needed to wear a size 10, which when put on, is very obviously it is WAY to big for me. I left without even being able to purchase anything, and I will not return.

I usually love to shop here, but had a bad experience today. They had a 20 percent off sign in Window, I ask if the shoes were included, they said yes, but sale ended yesterday! If you read the sign you should see the dates, it clearly says ended yesterday! Not sure the guys name seemed to be a supervisor. I am not impressed. Between being rude and the sign, lost a good customer.
