Las Olas Taqueria

All I've had so far is a chicken burrito to go, but it was awesome. Loaded with all their toppings, it's full of flavor, has right proportions of everything, juicy but not messy. Loved the grilled chicken especially -- the grill gives an extra layer of flavor. I liked it better than Chipotle's burritos. Can't to try more things. I can't really speak to the service since I was in and out, but the staff was young and friendly. Seems more like a casual quick bite place, atmosphere of the dine-in area was not that exciting. But if you're looking for tasty Mexican fast food that may not be authentic but is decently priced and quick, can't be beat.

I enjoy the food- for quick Mexican fare, they are quite good. I also know the management team has been responsive, customer-oriented, and good with the community. Which is why the childish behavior and lack of professionalism and manners by the kids that seemingly run the joint more and more commonly, is puzzling. Most of all, please tell the same couple of young gals on the prep line/register to lose the attitude (they should know who they are). Multiple times during down times before the busy peak hours, for some reason, they are downright cold and unpleasant when I place a simple order, and leave a 10% tip to boot. I understand people have bad days, especially in the food industry, but enough already.

I went here for the first time today. I was pleased with the employees and their kind and accommodating personalities'. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with guacamole, peppers and onions. The chicken tasted fresh and the spices that were on it were delish. The rice was moist and good. I will definitely visit this spot again.

Food was OK. I'd prefer Chipotle's over it. Also, the line moves quick, it was close to closing before we were able to order and one of the kids working wanted the carpet we were standing on. He asked my husband and I to move off so he could get it, there's only about 3 inches of floor on each end of the carpet, we had to hold onto the wall while on our toes so he could practically pull it out from under our feet. It was not very clean either, the garbage was over flowing and the tables were dirty. I think the kids were not doing their best without someone older watching over them. Also, the chipotle beef was hamburger, not strips of beef that you would assume. This place was OK, but I am in no rush to go back.

Update 12 Feb 18 - Love the food, great place to grab lunch. The main reason for only 3 stars is a trend I'm seeing at both this one in Exeter and the one in Hampton is the prices are slowly creeping up while the amount of main ingredients like meet and beans that are put in the burrito are slowly declining. Otherwise, tastes great and fairly filling, but slowly seeing the quality and quantity declining. For $8 for a burrito, don't get stingy with especially the main ingredients.
