Lile North American Moving and Storage

I did not have a good experience with Lile Moving and Storage. We hired the Kent, WA location to move our office furniture to a new building. We accepted the standard insurance Lile offers. They damaged a lot of our desks, and dinged doors, door jambs, and walls. Several Lile employees saw me watching them as the damage occurred. We filed a claim for the damage, but Lile has so far refused to reimburse us for the damage. I wouldn’t recommend them. UPDATE: 1/7/2018 I’ve spent well over a year working with Lile to get them to honor a written agreement to fix damage that was done by their crew. The damage, who did it, and when it was done is not in dispute. The Lile crew did the damage, told me about the damage within seconds, took a picture of the damage, and filed a claim for the damage. That was 14 months ago. This should be an easy fix, right? Not with Lile. Noting but “run-around” since then. I strongly recommend you do not use Lile for anything you value. Even if they offer to fix it in writing, I can tell you that the offer is worthless.

I love this company. I have moved a lot...15 times in the last 23 years to be exact and have worked with a lot of moving companies. I have to say this one is at the top of my list. I had a large move out of my home and into long-term storage. There were some large difficult pieces to crate and move. A year later I had to come back to Lile and ask for about half my items out of storage for an inter-state move. They were great about accommodating my request and gave me the same crew who packed me to help me go through the vaults, selecting what I wanted, and re-weighing everything to get an exact weight. They also worked very closely with another North American Van Lines agent on the receiving end to make sure everything went smoothly at the final destination. Many thanks to Jim Lindekugel and the crew at Lile. You can rest assured that I will definitely use Lile when I move again.
