I moved from Seattle, WA to Nashville, TN- this was the lowest bid I could get for my move. They called ahead to confirm, and they arrived on time for pickup, they packed everything up and put it in the tuck within thirty minutes. We had some holiday travelling to do so we weren't going to be in town until about a week before estimated delivery, but I booked a storage unit just in case they arrived before the last possible day. However they were late, I called many times and spoke with Nicole who kept me posted on when the truck would be leaving. They finally arrived eight days late, but nothing was broken or damaged and being that I was six months pregnant, I didn't have to lift a finger. They refunded me $80 a day for each day they were late. Overall, I was satisfied, but I had about two months before I actually needed anything in storage and we also only moved a 500sf apartment. Customer service was great, I think they should expand their 21 day promise to deliver because it seems like they aren't meeting it. I would have liked to know that it was going to take a month to deliver because it cost me $300 to hold our storage unit and my mom had to go set up the account in person for it a few days after having surgery. That felt like a waste of time and money, but otherwise they seem to be a normal moving company.

I have moved many times, and this was the worse experience (by far) that I have ever had. I strongly recommend going with a different moving company.

My experience with Jordan river moving is not good so far. First of all there is no transparency. They told me that their trucks leaves for east coast every week and my shipment will arrive well within the timeframe of 21 days. They didn't provide any update and despite me calling several times, they have no idea when the truck will be leaving. it is almost 15 days now and I have no idea when my shipment will arrive. I have a small child and we are waiting in the hotel for our shipment to arrive. I will not recommend this company to anyone planning to move inter state. The staff in the office are very unprofessional and not at all courteous.

Worst experience Ive ever had with a moving company. They asked us if we would rather have them pick our stuff up 3 days prior to leaving, it would make our stuff arrive earlier, and of course we agreed. Only our stuff didnt show up early, in fact it was 7 days late. They promised on the phone it would be there before then. When it was late we called and they said they gauruntee 21 days. FAILED to mention that in the beginning. Our fish tank was broken, feet on the couch missing, pictures shattered etc. They even left other peoples hand tools with us. And worst of all, they hired criagslist help with no background checks or any paperwork, just random people working for cash and trusted to carry all our items with care... yeah.... right.... SERIOUSLY, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. In the fine print, they say they do not cover property damage consisting of almost everything from glass to pressboard to wood furniture... wait, why are we paying $3200 then? Shouldnt broken items be replaced? They did the packing!!!!!!! Amateur movers chargers professional prices. Restructure your company guys, your employees lie and mistreat your customers. And we are not the only ones to experience this. Look at YELP for more reviews.
