Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage

This review is for Allied Van Lines and their agent Hansen Bros. Moving. I moved a 3 bdrm house content from Seattle to Southern California. In my many moves this was one of the worst I've experienced. 1. They didn't take care of packing and moving my goods (see pictures). one of the 3 packers was clearly incompetent and wasn't supervised resulting in damage to many items. All items numbered to manage inventory 2. My shipment wasn't weighed 3. My shipment was split - they couldn't fit it on one truck so it split into two. My furniture on one truck, boxes on another 4. Shipment 1 they said would arrive on Monday. Saturday night the driver called to say Sunday. Driver gave me a handwritten note of what was taken and what was left 5. Shipment 2 they said Tue or Wed. It came on Thu on a smaller feeder truck. All boxes were renumbered - for what reason I still don't know - with no cross reference. Result: I can't tell if I received in full what was shipped. I would not recommend either of these companies but particularly Hansen for their execution. I can't tell if I received everything, the lack of care in packing resulted in more damage than I've experienced in moves, and the additional stress their incompetence put on my move. The office people are very nice - but they'd need to be with the execution of his move.

As a long-time resident of Newcastle, I had always seen the Hansen Bros. trucks around town. With the sale of home and a short close on the house, I was in a bind to get the heavy items moved before the close. Hansen Bros was able to fit me in on short notice, just prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. Their quoted price was reasonable and the final bill came in right on quote. The crew was courteous and careful with my belongings and placed all items exactly where I needed them. I very much appreciated the quick response, professional care and hard work of the Hansen Bros crew. I will gladly refer friends and relatives to Hansen Bros knowing that they will be taken care of. Thank you to Chris, Antonio and Eduardo for your hard work and can-do attitudes.

Kenny and team were awesome. On time, efficient and very careful with my stuff. I was actually able to take conference calls most of the time they were moving me because they had everything under control. Thanks so much!

Helped in-laws pick up some stuff in storage. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This is a family operated company since 1990. They have 3 Stores, Seattle, Lynnwood and Newcastle. Excellent service, they help the big guy or are willing to help small guys ship eBay heavy items and/or storage at the best price in town :) Ptoud member of the Better Business Bureau, top rated
