This is soul food at its best!!!! Good southern food with down home flavor! The service is great,the owners practically know most of their customers by name because that's how much return satisfied patrons frequent this quaint establishment.prices are good and worth every cent! Fish dinners are cooked when you order!! The dessert is to die for!!  You won't be disappointed they have a variety of choices from the meats to the sides dishes that will suit your fancy.Don't let it's size fool you .The dining area is quaint and cozy.On any given day the line is out the door! Sunday is a after church event and many.Pastors eat good in the neighborhood! Lol Get there early or the bake macaroni will be gone and it's sooo good! Every meal comes with a piece of freshly baked cornbread the compliments what ever you choose.LOVE this place!!!!#

I have been coming here for years. True Soil food like the way my.grandmother and mom made in North Carolina.  Pleasant staff and wonderful place to cater a cookout for major dinner.  Large southern portions... enjoy!

My husband came home with a little bit of food from this restaurant and just smelling the collard greens and bbq ribs had me dying to get my own food. I ordered the bbq ribs, sweet potato, collard greens, and it came with corn bread. Everything was great the ribs were amazing and the corn bread is the best that I have EVER had super moist great flavor. The cornbread needs 10 stars 😂 I am very impressed!! The service was a tad bit slow but they are not a fast food joint this is fresh delicious soul food so be patient it is worth the wait. ALSO THE DRINKS ARE GREAT really sweet but I added some water and the flavor was still so good. As for people complaining about their times calling ahead is always a good idea.

Food is good, however there's a few workers that are kind of rude and not very friendly! Eat-in area is very small and tight, wouldn't recommend eating in!
