I have been here a couple of times and each time has been a good experience. The staff always friendly and attentive. The food is sooo delicious! The food is cooked fresh so it will take a little longer but it is worth it! They have okra on the menu! The corn bread is so tasty. It feels like soul food Sundays here! I absolutely love their mint green tea. You can bring your own alcoholic beverages!

The food was awesome, some of best soul food I've ever had! We had fried chicken, blackened catfish, collard greens, yams, plantains, and mac n cheese. Even the corn bread they serve with every meal was superb. I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend Sandra's to anyone!

Omg! My first time... amazing, not to mention the cute young man that seated me. The food is out of this world. I had the smothered chicken, mac and cheese, cabbage, fried catfish, fried shrimp, plantain.. I just had to sample a lot and its outstanding! Thanks to this place, I’m happy about soul food again! Will be back!

Too much going on the customer service could be more personal. I love supporting black business. The food was good.

This was some damn good food. Ordered fried chicken and catfish with a bunch of sides.. Wish I ordered double. Will definitely be returning to this New Haven gem.
