I was thrilled with this company. It was my first time with them and was a little worried my elderly cat would not do well. I was pleasantly surprised. I have used other services like this one and these are by far the best I have used. My cat felt the same way as he usually hides under a blanket or behind the couch but he stayed out and followed Ely every day. He meowed for her (usually a quiet cat) allowed her to take pictures (daily) and by the end of my trip he actually allowed her to pet him. I could not ask for more than for my fur baby to be happy and comfortable.

I was so impressed with Lucy's Pet Care from the beginning of the process to the end. Friendly and well-trained staff. Safe, secure procedures and friendly personal touch that all gave me a tremendous sense of comfort and confidence in traveling away from my pet.

I Love Lucy's Pet Care Service. I have found there service to be easy to use with their online request for visits and scheduling. The billing process is easy also. Plus, the most important part is that they take care of my dog Lucy as if she were there's! They are always accommodating and flexible with my needs and changing schedule. I highly recommend this service to anyone seeking high quality pet care.

After reading glowing reviews, we decided to set up a meet and greet with our dogs. We don't have any immediate trips coming up, but wanted to establish a relationship before leaving the dogs with a new sitter. From the very beginning, it was a bit like pulling teeth to set up an appointment. They insisted we set up an account, we received an invoice for a trip months ahead and no questions were asked about our dogs needs. It seems they only match sitters based on dates, not needs.
We finally were able to get a meet and greet set up. The woman who was sent to us was not a fit at all. Our pets are active and our home has many stairs and we were concerned the sitter would not be able to handle it safely. The questions she asked were about where the dogs were fed - not their personalities, not how they like to play. It was clear this was a cut and dry service provider - no extra love. She didn't interact with the dogs during the meet and greet and by the end of the visit, didn't even know their names. She stepped on one of dogs and didn't realize.
A huge reason we decided to try this company was their emphasis on their first aid training. We told them about a mild medical issue with one of our pets. It's easily managed without medication and we told her it was just something to keep an eye out for when they were there.
Our dogs are comfortable being left alone and are easy to care for - they are smart, happy little dogs that need to be fed, watered and played with. That was apparently too much to ask because we received an email the day after the first meet and greet saying they would be unable to care for our pets. We were told they couldn't care for our dog with a medical issue (even though she isn't medicated and it is easily managed and they emphasized their first aid training) and they felt like our dogs needed 24/7 care because they had "separation anxiety." The fact our dogs have separation anxiety was news to us. They've had sitters before who visited a couple times a day and every sitter has told us how joyful and easy it is to care for them.
It took us several hours to fill our paperwork, give credit card information, and set up the sitter and it was a complete waste. I recommend looking elsewhere if you want a nuturing relationship for your pets. If you need a cut and dry feed and water while you are gone setup, this would be an excellent fit.
