I've always wanted to go to Macy's in NYC! We spent several hours shopping! We were not disappointed! Go see the 1.2 million square foot building with some of the original wooden escalators. Make sure to go when it's decorated for Christmas. If you want to see Santa make sure you have reservations prior to going.
I lost my bag in transit from Mumbai to Charlotte. I reached Charlotte with no clothes. I went to the Macy's at Southpark and did a complete wardrobe shopping for 2 days. Very satisfied. Good range courteous staff.
Gotta be honest, the menswear selection is sooo lacking. The selection is pretty boring and the store’s lighting is kinda dull, to put it mildly. But I give 4 star anyway because they have Toys R Us. It reminds me of my childhood and they have that baby raptor toy that I’ve been looking for all over here - so that’s 4 star, I guess. The selection is bleh, but the associates are nice and helpful.
Came looking for a specific item but could find any help. Waited and walked around the department for 5-10 minutes, not an employee in sight. The only employees I saw were in the perfume department and the register. Must be understaffed.
Barely any assocates to assist getting fitted for a suit. I spent around 15 minutes hoping I could find someone to help. I then waiting in the checkout line to talk to the cashier for help. She said that the man who does the fitting just left. I was in the store at the Men's suit area for 30 minutes and he just left? If you try to call ahead of time, like I attempted to last week, their options to talk to someone on the phone are a maze of dead-ends. Lost my business.
This was a really neat macys honestly. I loved how large of a make up selection they had, and they also had a nice little toy section for the little kiddos set up. It was very well kept up, and all the customer service reps we came into contact with were exceptionally nice and helpful!
I spent a few hours on the phone and messenger trying to get my delivery fixed. Ultimately I had to go back into the store to correct. Macy’s please make sure all of your customer touch points are connected. My only role should should be that of customer.
My wife and I visited this store to do some clothes shopping for Christmas only to find that the dressing rooms remain closed. I'm guessing stiil due to Dr. Pinhead Fauci's rule. Really? Are these people in touch with reality? Get over it and move on! We took our business elsewhere and would recommend that others do the same. While Macy's continues to bow to tyrannical rule.
The manager of the store has a lot of experience in his work, but some employees like Esia, forgive me for mentioning names, but they do not treat customers politely. But they have a good manager. And I have been shopping here for about thirty years
Update: Another great visit today. Very helpful sales clerk!! see pic Macy's Back Stage Review!!! What an awesome addition to Macy's. I love looking in this section of the store. Some great finds!
