The Black Tux at Nordstrom

Had an absolutely amazing experience with bill!! He was so informational, helpful and funny as well. Made everything simple and explained it in black and white. I even Canceled all future appointments elsewhere and know we will be buying the suits from bill here at black tux not just for Sebasthian’s wedding but my wedding come up as well!! Thank you black tux for making this a fun experience and not a stressful trip trying on a suit. Will for sure be referring others and coming back for all my dress wear needs.

[To preface this review, I do not recommend what I did] I showed up with no appointment, only the information of what suit I needed and they were able to work me in and get me measured. I understand I am not the customer you would have desired, but nonetheless in my lack of appointment and planning Mr. Bill shined and got me measured and in a test suit in no time. He was professional and courteous and I would recommend anyone setting up an appointment, to go see Mr. Bill!

Bill was a fantastic help. Knowledgable, courteous, patient. Showed me a wide range of suits and looks and was very thorough in his explanations of how the whole rental/purchasing process works. I feel confident moving forward with The Black Tux for my wedding and wedding party. The process is so seamless and easy, I cant imagine another place matching it. Plus Bill is a delight.

The quality of the rentals was fine and what you'd expect out of a rental. It's the process of working with them that is inflexible and frustrating. Once you order a suit, regardless how far in advance, they send it to you 10 days before your event to get alterations. You realistically have one or two days to go find somewhere to get alterations done once receiving it. If you're busy with work or traveling for your event and don't have time immediately after receiving the suit, you're just SOL. My pants were too long and this is what happened to me. They don't make it clear that you have 48 hours after your event to return the suit or get charged $60. I received an email from them with 7 hours left to return the suit or get charged late fees. At no point did I receive emails informing me about this leading up to the event. I believe they know what they are doing. They can do better.

Bill was incredibly helpful through the process of getting fitted and helping me choose a look for my wedding that couldn’t have been better. The process was seamless and I would absolutely use the Black Tux again if I had to do it again

We walked in without appt and rep could not have been nicer. He worked with us to pick perfect tux for gala. I wanted to buy the tux unfortunately you did not have pants in stock to allow purchase. He tried several options with no luck. We ended up renting. So sad

Absolutely fantastic!! Bill was incredible and a huge help. Very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful while making the entire experience top tier. Highly recommend!!

Whoever did my sizing was completely incompetent. The woman with fake hair and fake nails that I had the misfortune of dealing with had absolute no idea what she was doing and should be fired from her job. She started by taking my waist measurement on top of my belt which was completed inaccurate. After I explained that I am not a 36 waist and am a 32 waist, she then brought out the 36, then the 34, which obviously were too large, and then eventually brought out the 32 waist pants which to her surprise were the right fit. Then after I explained that I am a Wihelmina Model and that I know my jacket size quite well, she insisted on a jacket that was 4 sizes too small. Then gave me a hard time when I expressed that I do in fact know my size and that all the jackets she brought to me are too small. She ended up ordering the wrong size jacket so I just had to go online to reorder the correct jacket size. Hopefully it shows up in time because I am going to a wedding next week. Please do not use this company as they will probably fail to have a competent person working. What a shame! The person who I had to deal with and who sized me should be immediately fired for their lack of knowledge and ability to correctly size someone. Unacceptable and truly an absolute failure on behalf of whoever hired this woman.

I went in with my boyfriend for his 4:30pm appointment and we met with Bill! Great guy who knows his stuff, answered all my many questions and created a great atmosphere for us. Wonderful experience, would highly recommend!!!

What a waste of time, I called to verify that they still have a men’s suit section. And the operator stated that they did. I show up after a half hour drive and you have to have an appointment. They don’t have sizes for the most part in a variety of suits very limited. With an appointment, they will size you and then ship you your suit that you bought. There’s no variety and shopping for something that looks good. This experience was far under the Nordstrom perception and past experiences.
