Of all the historic home tours we've done over the years this was one of the best. No blue hair giving you a rehearsed spiel. The tour is done by a classically trained curator who is engaging and knowledgeable. Highly recommended if you want to have serious historical discussions with someone who knows their stuff.

Home of George Walton, signer of the Declaration of Independence & former Governor of Georgia.Very interesting structure from the early 1800's.

Wonderful guided tour! Well-researched. This is the oldest house museum in Georgia and the oldest documented dwelling in Augusta.

Another must do if you are visiting Augusta. This is an original home of a signer of the Declaration of Independence, maintained by the Daughters of the American Revolution. If you are a history buff, military, or an just an American interested in where we come from you will enjoy a guided tour of this hidden treasure of Augusta.

A very good tour of an interesting house. It should be noted that tours are on an on demand basis - so just walk up to the "guest" building and request one when you arrive. They are also open on Saturday.
