I did the tour at Owens-Thomas. Very interesting the way they lived back in 1819 the house was interesting, slave quarters were original kind of disturbing in a modern sense. But it is history so it was interesting to see. Everything was fully explained before we entered it was about a 45-minute tour. I did feel the sense when we walked in to the house as if we stepped through a time machine. It did feel that way. Very old.

This historic home offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives of the early American slave-owning one percent. The tour takes between a half hour and an hour and is well worth your time if you are visiting Savannah. The admission price also includes admission to both Jepson galleries; visiting all three can easily fill a morning or afternoon making it a very economical way to see a variety of Savannah attractions.

This is a very well preserved look into early Savannah wealth and culture. Accurate history of the roll of the enslaved in operating such a facility. Refreshing to hear the truth.

Really neat view into the lives of those who lived in Savannah's old historic houses. This is one of the first homes with indoor plumbing, really neat to see! And the grounds are immaculate. You can pay for admission to one Telfair/Jepson museum and go to all three, highly recommend. Our tour guide here was friendly and knowledgeable.
