Really awesome fort to visit. The visitor center isn't that big, but I would HIGHLY recommend you stay for the video presentation (which repeats throughout the day). By watching the video, it added a lot more depth to our experience when we were traversing the fort. Also, make sure you walk around the outer walls to the front of the fort, it's a spectacular sight!

Excellent place to visit on a pretty spring day. There is plenty of walking for those who are energetic. The grounds are enormous and very nicely maintained. If you're a history buff like me, you'll enjoy the historical information available as well as the guided tours. There are a number of great photo opportunities. We definitely enjoyed the visit.

Awesome to see such history. Many plaques describing items and locations in and out of fort. The ammo storage bunkers are super cool to see. I did not do a guided tour as I like to do things at my own pace but from what I overheard, the guides seemed quite knowledgeable. Make sure to walk around the fort and see the cannon ball damage on the far wall. Great views from up top as well.

Fort Pulaski was an interesting visit for me. There is a lot of history here. Worth every penny. It is in amazing shape, the brickwork is incredible, really. Huge brick curved walls. Amazing to read about what happened here, it really is. I wish the giftshop had medallions, that is really the only complaint I can think of.

Absolutely loved this place! The engineering that went into the build was phenomenal. My wife and I planned to spend about an hour here but ended up at about 3-1/2. Decided to take a guided tour and it was great. FYI, visit the other forts in the area first. If you do not, plan on being disappointed with them after this one.
