Spread the word, do not shop at Mealey’s! I’m so fed up with them. We went to the store 2/13 to get end tables that matched my coffee table. Since I knew what I wanted, I asked for a specific table and the salesman looked like I had 6 heads. I know they have thousands of pieces of furniture there, so I wouldn’t expect him to know it off the top of his head, but he was completely clueless. I found it myself by walking around, because he still couldn’t find it in the computer. The price was another issue. Any given day, it’s $165 online for this particular table. A lot of money for one end table, but it was a gift that was being given to me. Because of their Presidents’ Day sale, they jacked up their prices so it’d look like a deal. Now, online was $330, so with their “deal”, it went right back to $165, but in the store, the price was much higher. I had to haggle with him so they would at least match the price online. I do appreciate that he was able to work with me on that. I was ready to walk out several times, but because it was a gift, I didn’t. Then we get to pay and we find out it’s almost $100 for delivery to my house and $20 something for delivery to the store, still ridiculous but whatever. They’re end tables, they’ll fit in my car, so obviously we chose store delivery. Then we get told as we’re signing the paperwork that because it’s store delivery, the furniture isn’t coming assembled and we have to inspect it when we pick it up because once it leaves the store I can’t make any claims that it’s missing pieces or anything. Slowly fast forward to six weeks later and I finally got a call that the furniture is in and it can only be picked up Monday-Friday from 11-4:30. They really expect you to take a day off from work for that?! Luckily I had days off coming up. It was an easy process getting the furniture and putting it together myself, but had I known about the price gouging and the fact that it wouldn’t come assembled by choosing store delivery, I don’t know if I would’ve purchased it. But I do know that I’ll never go there again.

The salesman that assisted with my purchase was super helpful. Got me a great deal and I left happy! The follow through, however, was awful. I was told I would be called and never received a call. I had to call twice. First time they told me they would call me the next day (they didn't). Next phone call was with the distribution center. Found out I could schedule my delivery and so I did. Very frustrating to have 0 follow through on their end. Still have yet to receive a call from the store to follow up (which they said they would in 3 days. It's been 2 weeks).

Had a positive experience purchasing a dresser. The delivery men were very nice, did a great job respecting our house when carrying furniture through the house and left everything in its correct place. Cleaned up after themselves.

We bought a bedroom set and are very happy. The delivery was a little late (which we have learned is normal anywhere). The delivery men worked quickly and did a nice job. We LOVE the set so far and are very happy with the purchase. Our sales associate, Bob was very helpful in-store. We would definitely consider buying here again.

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!! We purchased a new dining room set from Mealey's that arrived damaged. Not only that but the delivery men managed to track mud across my entire living room floor. When I called the store to find out how they were going to correct this situation I was told by their customer care team "they just switched to this delivery company, and if I had purchased my furniture sooner than I might not have had this problem". I was then told to take pictures and send them over in order to get this problem resolved. I then spoke with a store manager who told me to send the pictures to him because this was not how things were handled in their company. Once I sent the pictures my husband called back to touch base and we were told we would hopefully have this resolved in 48 hours. It has now been over 72 and I have yet to hear from them. Every time I call the store the manager is now unavailable. The customer care specialist emailed me and asked me to send the pictures over as well and I did. I called today and her response was okay ill see what I can do now that I have the pictures. I sent them to her 3 days ago and she is trying to claim that she just received them. Save yourself the stress and shop somewhere else! Well after getting a store manager involved and the manager of the customer care team, they decided to send me a new table. HOWEVER, it showed up more damaged than the first one and with foot prints all over the bottom of because someone had been walking on it. I had to refuse the table and still have my original damaged table. I like how the "owner" responds with send an email to their customer care team, except their customer care team doesn't actually care and is terrible to work with!
