Mi-Hungry Catering & BBQ

From my experiences, the first thing you should know is that this isn't like the typical chain restaurant. The menu is more of a guide/suggestion and the real way to get your food is to ask the people behind the counter. The people are very nice. Both times I went, I received friendly service. The atmosphere is that of a classic diner (pretty small dining area). The food though! I have seen negative reviews for this place and wonder if they went to the same place. EVERYTHING I've had here was above and beyond just about anywhere I've ever been. I've never went to Jamaica, so I can't comment on authenticity, but who cares? It is so good. My only thought is that time of day could make a big difference since it is BBQ.

Just had oxtail, oh. It was fantastic super rich and delicious.Curry chicken and pork rib tips candy yams were also great and to finish it off a sweet cup of jamaican lemonade.Great experience. This place is not fancy just great food.I am a darn good chef/Cook myself so I know what is good..

The food up there is always hot and fresh. There potato salad is different but really good. If you're a picky person don't go here because their food isn't like any other but always amazing. They're always super nice and great prices.

It didn’t taste like real Jamaican food. :( The food was gross & cold. Rice was hard, lemonade had too much sugar, my meat was under cooked, the yams made my stomach hurt. NOTHING ACTUALLY TASTED JERKED. I had to throw it all away. The entire stablishment was dirty. It was just overall a horrible experience. I will never go back. This was not Jamaican food. This was diabetes soul food.

Loads of meat to choose from, and super cheap. AND THE FOOD'S GOOD! I wish I would've gone here sooner!
