Wow! I have stayed in motel 6 nicer than this. I can’t believe that this is a 3 star hotel. Maybe it used to be back in the 1980s and 1990s, as the decor indicates, but there is no way it is a 3 Star now.
I’m not even sure what to say right now. The check in process was abysmal as the guy was doing 4 things at once and scatter brained in his attempt to check us in. Not to be disrespectful, but he was clearly on something illegal (I have to clarify since we are in Colorado). It took 45 minutes for him to tell us he didn’t have a room because he kept saying “hold on a second, I have to exit this screen.”
The hotel room itself is from the 80s and indicative of a room in a really small town that you’re scared to take your shoes off. The bathroom is horrendous and dirty. I just can’t believe it is a 3 Star hotel. NO WAY!
There are SO many choices in Boulder, I would NEVER stay here again. Ever.
The millennium in Chicago is so nice. Apparently, they forgot about their other properties.

Nice property. Perfectly placed in Boulder. Great value. Attentive staff... Except maintenance? I would go again.

The Millennium Hotel is one of Boulders best hotels. Rooms are always available, clean and spacious. Outdoor pool and sauna. Staff is top notch. Prices are reasonable. Located close to highway 36. Next door is the Rocky Mountain tennis center. Plenty of parking and very wheelchair friendly.

I reserved a room from May 1- May 6,for me and my daughter. Thursday me and my daughter were laying in each of our beds, so she fell asleep and I continued to watch TV . So,I see something moving along the side of the wall it's two nice moving towards the TV stand so I hit my bed and they ran towards the entrance door. So I get out of my bed and go down to the front desk and tell the manager on duty, he gives me another room 430. But then today, me and my daughter leave the room at 9am and return to the room at 5pm and the same crumbs that was on the carpet this morning when we left was still in the same spot when we returned back to our room.
So for those reasons, I would like a discount on my room or my money back. I didn't come all this way from home or pay all this money to room with mice or to not have my room properly cleaned. Mad as hell!!!

Three stars is generous, but it is not two stars.
It is obvious the hotel was expanded in the past and that the expansion was done in an odd way. I'm in what looks like the older part of the hotel. Getting from the old part to the new part is odd on the floors where you can do that and on the 3 door it's not possible.
The room itself is very large. King bed is nice with firm mattress on a platform, which I happen to like. Desk is a good size if you need space for a laptop or to do other desk work. Bathroom is small and basic and clean. There is only one outlet on each wall and most of them are used, so if you have devices you need to plug in that's a bit of a pain. The only outlet not in use is far away from both the bed and desk. The other annoyance is the window heater a/c unit. It worked great but it is loud.
My room faced hwy 36 and I could hear the traffic, but it was not loud enough to be annoying.
Price wise, it's inexpensive for Boulder. If you are on a budget, this is good.
