Reviews
This review for the restaurant in the Victor Hotel, The Side Door, as we don’t see a separate listing.
We sat outside on the small deck along the sidewalk (possibly added in 2017 or so) & it was wonderful — a beautiful day & you can see a couple of different parts of town. They almost immediately brought out water bowls, water for our humans, and a couple of treats for us. They were very attentive while the humans ate, very willing to make recommendations about the area and couldn’t have been friendlier.
Note, if you go when it’s cooler out they do have a small fire pit/place on the deck that they’re happy to light.

This is a hidden treasure. A historical hotel in the center of a town that feels far more authentic than Cripple Creek. Do yourself a favor and stay here. Check out its haunted history. Rooms are clean, large, and nicely furnished. Cute romantic getaway.

Victor Hotel is the only place to stay in Victor. It's quaint and historic, but not fancy. Totally worth the price and a fun little place to stay.

Guests of this hotel Sept. 17-21. My husband and I loved everything about it. It was like stepping back in time to a much simpler life. The rooms were very nice and clean. And we loved the "old" lavatories. They gave the rooms the feel of nostalgia. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. We loved the period furniture in the pretty lobby. And the birdcage elevator---was beautiful and unigue. The town itself was so interesting and people very friendly. If you want a cookie cutter hotel, go to the big noisy city. If you want a great experience in a great town full of history and charm, you will love the Victor Hotel.
Side note: there is a very nice small bar and restaurant, also.
