Motion Fitness Club

I have been a member for over a year, and overall am very happy with the club. I prefer group classes, and there are ample ones to choose from (but swap-ins/swap-outs of certain classes can be frustrating at times for the regulars). Membership costs more here than at other "no frills" clubs, and the best deal unfortunately requires a locked-in 2-year commitment, but the facility is always clean and machines well-kept. Owner Myles is hands-on and listens to members in an effort to always improve their experience. Love the shower/spa area with roomy lockers, towel service, shampoo and hairdryers!

Never been more humiliated in my life! They are horrible It's dirty and disgusting place I would never come back ! They could give me free entry for the entire life and I would never set foot in that horrible place Run the other way

I worked at a couple of nice gyms in the city some years ago (Equinox, Reebok Sports Club), and Motion Fitness has a similar feel to those gyms - up to date, very clean and well maintained, friendly and attentive staff, with a nice variety of offerings. And it doesn't feel like one of those hard-core gyms where every class pushes at a high intensity level - which is perfect for those who want to ease into getting in shape. (Of course if you want hard-core, you can find that there as well.) Motion Fitness feels very inclusive and welcoming to all people no matter what their age and fitness level. I also love that you never have to wait to get on a cardio machine any time of day, there's an excellent selection of free and machine weights, and they have babysitting services. I looked at a lot of local gyms before deciding, and Motion Fitness fit all my criteria. I'm very happy there.

Becoming a member at Motion was my first jump into gym membership. I was nervous at first, but it was so worth it. Motion has a wide variety of classes, which keep me motivated. Though I can't personally afford a personal trainer, I can learn a lot from their highly qualified trainers within the classroom settings. I particularly enjoy Zumba, Strength Circuit, and Boot Camp. I have also tried Spin and enjoyed that. Not only are there many classes to choose from, but many different times. When I was working early, I could catch a super early class. Now, that I work later, I can catch one later morning or even in the evening. Very convenient. If I work out on my own, there is always plenty of equipment even at busy times. I can almost always use the weights I need to challenge myself. Finally, the extra services offered by Motion are great. I got a lot out of meeting with the nutritionist. Even my free personal training session and fitness evaluation were beneficial. Overall, Motion is a great gym. I highly recommend it. The ultimate proof is in the change I have seen in my body since working out here. I look forward to meeting new fitness goals with Motion.
