I went in to sMouser Machine Shop to see about getting a part manufactured for my 1978 BMW R100/7 that had a stripped out center valve cover bolt hole, it had been reamed out from a 8mm to a 12mm and Mike Mouser said he could make something and then he took the two bolts that matched the sizes of the oversized hole and the stud that held the valve cover on. A few minutes later he came back with an insert that was a perfect match. I said great how much, and said just send me some business. This is how real people get new customers. Thanks. I have already shared my experience with the people at Big Twin BMW Motorcycle shop.
