My Story

I have made many, many purchases from My Story over the years, but never again. My daughter bought 2 Simply Southern shirts from there a few days ago because they were having a sale...buy 2 get 30% off. One of them she got was for me. I needed to exchange it for a smaller size. Same EXACT shirt, just a different size. Well apparently because they were on sale it's considered a "final sale", and they will not allow any exchanges. Clearly they don't understand they aren't the only store that sells SS shirts, and the rest of the merch. they have in their store ain't that cute. IJS. Buyer beware. I, for one, won't be shopping there anymore.

Nothing against the people but this place has the most ridiculous return policy. I understand no exchanges or returns, the store credit is fine, but not even offering that. Come on. Went to get a shirt my pregnant wife likes as a surprise, getting the shirt I think is her size, assuming she could get the size she needs in case the one I got doesn't fit. Nope. Only that way on the shirts. Ridiculous. This place is dumb. Now I remember why I hate the mall.

So about 3 to 4 months ago I bought some leggings from there and they are already in my trash bin because they ripped in the seams. I bought the correct size and tried them on in the store and they fit perfectly and yes they have been in the wash a few times but that should not cause them to rip.

I wouldn’t even rate this store a one star! The service I received was horrible. Bad business, bad service, and the return policy is ridiculous...can’t even try on a bra to see if it fits before purchasing one, and then you can’t return or exchange it, if it doesn’t fit! The sales clerk was very argumentative when explaining the policy. However, little do they know... if the bra doesn’t fit when i get home, I will bring it back! I paid with this purchase with my bank card and will dispute the charge if It doesn’t fit! So, please don’t come at me unprofessionally! #badbussiness #badservice #lostacustomer

I have never in my life seen such a rude employee working in retail!! At 5:35 I walked into this store today... being Sunday and a girl named Jessica felt the need to let us know they closed at 6.. with a attitude.. I just smiled and started looking around... at 5:45 She came over and asked if I would be paying with cash or a card.. never once asking if she could help me find what I might be looking.. I go to pay for my purchase at 5:50 and tried to make conversation with her and she just looked at me... wouldn't even smile... I will never go back in that store.. there are better stores that do appreciate me spending money in them... Girls like her have no business working rental with the public!

The return policy is awful! My jacket is to small and it came with a tear in it and i just don’t want it anymore and i cant return it and i deserve my money back!

Most ridiculous return policy! I just wanted to exchange for the same thing just a bigger size. Wouldn’t let me exchange without receipt and it was a gift!! Never shopping there again!

As noted by another reviewer, their return policy needs work. But overall, I was satisfied. They have a very large selection and the employee was friendly.

My family loves there clothes.. staf is kind and helpful!
