Great service!!!!! But food has gone downhill, I’ve never seen a chicken sandwich which was literally paper thin and to top that off it was as dry as could be!! Burgers are not very good either anymore asked for med. rare and was well done. The fries were cold but the onion rings were perfect!!!! Ruben was edible but dry. Very disappointed!! Will be a long time if we ever go back.

We have eaten at Newts before and have always had a great experience...good service, good food. Not today. We ate at the newer location off of Broadway. We ordered nachos to start which are usually really good. They took an excess amount of time to come out. And then when they did, burnt! The waiter never came by while we waited to apologize for the delay or offer to check on them not one time. Then within a few mintutes of the nachos, came our food. My husbands and sons orders were fine, mine (chicken strip platter) again burnt. I am not one ever to send food back but these were bad so I requested new ones. Within a few minutes the employee who brought out the first plate (not the waiter) brought me what was I'm pretty sure the same plate and asked if those were better. I said no they were JUST as burnt. My response? "This is how we make them here" This time the waiter was standing behind him. He says nothing. Just that theyd take it off the bill. Very disappointed as this has usually always been a great place to go.

From Madison WI visiting my son and daughter in law. We told them to take us to the best burger place.......and they did. The place was packed, but service was still very good. Will return for sure!

Great place for a burger, beer and to catch up on the days sports events on the TVs all around the place...bartender and service staff are outstanding, and the burgers are killer....

Called and placed a to go order for their fish and chips and an extra side salad with oil and vinegar. After the pickup come to find that I didn't get the tartar sauce or chips part of the fish and chips and there was ranch in the bag instead if oil and vinegar for what I guess passes for a side salad (a handful of iceberg lettuce and some cheap shredded cheese). After a quick call back I get an apology and told if i come back they'll make it right. Fast forward to me walking back and I tell the only man at the counter what happened. He hadn't been told anything of course so went back to check and get me the tartar sauce, fries, and oil and vinegar. Comes back and hands me tartar sauce and nothing else. Says I didn't order fries and that I subbed a salad. Still didn't bring me a cup of the right dressing. I ask and I get a blank stare and a look that just says he didn't really want to be bothered by the customer anymore. Will not order from here ever again and if anyone asks I'll advise them to do the same.
