I come here with my dogs once a week. Parking on Dover Road is a little confusing so I always enter from Davenport. Usually we have the place to ourselves, but unfortunately there are also times we come across hunters or kids on quads/dirtbikes. This is upsetting, as it is supposed to be a sanctuary. Regardless, if you are looking for a secluded area to take a stroll, this is the place. On days when the weather is pleasant, Double Trouble and Jake's Branch parks are both unbelievably crowded. At the sanctuary you are almost guaranteed solitude, and of course, a vast array of plants and animals if you are paying attention.
