Atmosphere: Nora’s is a fast food restaurant that serves Mexican Classics. The space inside the restaurant is very small - only a few tables and chairs, a front counter, and kiosks on the side counter for customers to input their orders. I went during the weekend when there was a street festival outside, so the restaurant was packed with customers waiting for their orders. They also have a small outdoor seating area for customer overflow. Service: This was really quick - I ordered my food via the self-service kiosk and got my tacos after 15 minutes. As far as I could tell, you needed to wait until the person at the front yelled your name to know when your order was ready. Food: I got three, jam-packed Birria Beef Tacos which came with two sauce sides and a few limes. Overall, the food was savory, flavorful, and filling! I had the save the two other tacos that I couldn’t finish in one sitting. Tips: If you are waiting outside like me - after 15-minutes of putting in your order, check with the front counter to see if it’s ready. More than likely it is!
This place… 10/10!!! Best Mexican place I’ve ever been to. Chips 10/10, guac 10/10, soy chorizo 10000/10, beans and rice 10/10, tacos and side sauces 10/10. Everything was fresh and DELICIOUS. Currently eating the left overs and needed to leave a review, it’s even good cold.
these people are very friendly!! they opened our bottles for us & gave us a cup holder for the drinks & put them in a bag for us, on top of that the food was delicious, tastes fresh & really flavorful, also they gave me some type of orange colored creamy sauce it was really good, better than expected im gonna keep thinking about it
Customer service was non existent, but the food was good. We ordered birria tacos and al pastor tacos. Fairly priced. Both tacos had a lot of meat, which was good. I asked for red and green sauce and only got the green sauce.
With friends local to the area. One of their favorite places. The food was pretty tasty.Food: 4/5
I’ve tried the Birria tacos, Santa Fe burrito, Elote, and chips + queso. The flavors are so rich and mouth watering. You won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu. The owner is very nice and friendly. When you walk in just order on the iPad and hang out, until they call out your name. The inside is kept clean, so its comfortable to eat inside or take out. 100% I’ll be visiting more often.
Update: came back in 2021 and the food is still very good. Birria Tacos are great! I came to this place for my birthday today because it had good reviews and it surely did not disappoint! The place itself is very cute, clean and cozy. The food was great and the service was a solid 20/10. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to grab some delicious and affordable food. Lovely place. Will definitely come back!
Found this small place while visiting Philadelphia and walking to find somewhere to eat after going to Independence Hall area. The best tortas I've ever had. Quality of ingredients, flavors of each element was amazing. Would definitely go back next time we are in the area.
Nora’s Kitchen was absolutely amazing. We were craving Mexican food and we were NOT disappointed!!!! Super duper fresh and not greasy food. Fresh made guacamole and the tortilla chips were to die for. Pictured below is the California Steak Burrito which was delicate. French fries in the burrito! We also got the Sante Fe Vegetarian Bowl, with Zuchinni medley as the protein substitute. All the hot sauces and side of pico de Gallo were exquisite! Will come back again, would 100% reccomend to a friend! Nomnomnom
Wow!!! What a hidden gem. For all the authentic Mexican spots in south Philly, this may be the best I’ve tried in all my years. Tried almost their entire menu and no disappointments. Their quesadillas are incredible
