North/South Lake Campground

Was recommended this spot by a friend and none of the trails nor the views disappointed. There are plenty of areas to cookout and accessible bathrooms. It would have been nice to have more markers on the trails like you are here now. The views from Sunset Rock were amazing and totally worth the effort.

Gorgeous lake and terrific hiking year round! I went with my dog, and we walked the entire perimeter of the lake (just over 3 miles). It was beautiful! Even though the campgrounds are closed, the trails are still open and we had good company with other walkers. There’s still a bit of ice and a lot of mud, but most of all, look out for ticks! Best to stay on the cleared trails and/or paved walkways.

Really pretty. Really annoying that most of the roads except one was closed outside of summer. Still worth it, very peaceful. You have to get to where the 2 lakes meet on foot. I guess because it's closed off outside of summer it was very quiet and peaceful when we went.

Real nice campgrounds. Good bathrooms and showers by loop 3. Why do the bathroom door have to slam so loud?

Had a great time sitting on the beach and looking at the beautiful Catskill Mtns. Great place to have a nice bbq with the family or take a dip in the lake to cool off. Also a great place to camp.
