Clean, quiet campsite. Friendly staff. Good facilities on site - boat rentals, hiking paths (trail map available), etc. Bathrooms and shower blocks are clean and warm. Camping fee includes access to the park, including for the day you check out. Be warned that they are strict about the 9pm limit on letting people into the campsite.

Been camping here since the late 80s. Some years there are bears, some years there are beavers. It's a nice quiet little campsite in the Catskills. If you want a big loud party atmosphere for yourself, then I suggest North/South Lake for that.

Pros: Amazing lake. Nice path around the lake. We took our bicycles with us and it was fun to ride around the lake.
Cons: slow computers took forever to check in. One of the campers were way too loud and abusive in middle of night and they were evicted in the morning.

Keep up the good work , rangers! It is very annoying to camp near a noisy site. You might think your quiet b.c you don't have your music loud, but voices travel in the woods. When camping, I really don't want to hear my neighbor, unless they are chopping wood. Chopping wood is a nature sound.
And you should get spoken to for leaving your cooler unattended. There are bears. They walk through sites. An occasional cooler left out is why they continue to walk through sites. I love this peaceful spot.
Not a good party campground and THANK YOU, RANGERS for that!😇🚣
