Aweful experience. I was given a prescription for a positioning cushion by my doctor for my lower back pain. I walked in and no smiles. Everyone seemed irritated that I even walked in. They said they take my insurance but will not bill because they don't have a code for the pillow. I took extra time out of my day to get that code for them. Called my insurance company and was told it will be covered and that Northern Illinois Medical supply is in network for me. Upon giving them the code and information from my insurance company they still refused. One woman told me they don't bill for it because they won't receive enough money from the insurance company and they don't want to lose money. So basically they have a contract with insurance companies and pick and choose which products to bill. They are non compliant with their contract. They insisted I pay up front and get reimbursed through my insurance. If I could afford it out of my own pocket I would not be going through all this trouble. Another woman said they only carry generic ones and that's why they won't bill. They can't get their story straight. I asked if they can please order one that they would be willing to bill. No. They wont. They said it would cost them too much. Absolutely rude, horrible customer service, and non compliant. Zero stars!

I want to say that this facility is great for what it offers customers for families and clients, however at times I was told my mother was covered for equipment and then we go to pic up and we are told we had to pay cash, One day we are told it is covered and then 2 days later it is not. So, I will be looking into this-

The lady I talked to was condescending, rude, and just plain nasty to me, simply because I asked a couple questions on warranty issues. Can't understand how someone like that is allowed to communicate with customers.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. Their customer service is absolutely non-existant. They've fouled up my insurance paperwork so much now that it took me 4 months to get my CPAP machine, and even then tried to give me a used machine with 500+ hours on it. Will never go back to this company for any reason. Back to Lincare, at least they didn't try to scam me.
