Close by. Well kept. Inexpensive. Cool wooded camp and picnic sites. Nice nature center and aquatic center (extra charge but worth it).

Exceeded my expectations! The campground were well kept and the hiking trails were exciting. My kiddos absolutely loved the animals at the wildlife center and the historic barn is absolutely wonderful. So much history, and all of it presented in such a wonderful way. The farm homestead replica was fascinating and gave such a unique opportunity to discuss with our teens how very different everyday life was back in the day! We're looking forward to planning another weekend here.

It's amazing! There is a water park, Alpine Pond with nice fish, water slides, and etc.
