Oakland Housing Authority

We were contracted by KPRS to do the windows on Meta Housings civic center 14 job in Oakland, Ca. This job is a low income housing project and meta housing is getting a lot of tax credits for doing the job. We completed our work on the project on November 21, 2017. We submitted billing on December 18, 2017 for payment due and paid out in February 2018. We didn't hear a word from KPRS from November-February. Flash forward to February when we contact KPRS about payment and along the list of other excuses KPRS gave us they said they haven't paid us because Meta Housing hasn't paid them (which obviously isn't in our contract, that our payment is contingent upon meta housing paying) KPRS employee Eric Donnelly went a step further and informed us Meta Housing has "borrowed" $500k from them to float this project, nice! The owner Michelle Coulter has been cc to countless emails and has never responded. Their are handfuls of liens and lawsuits on this project, to say it's a mess is an under statement. Meta Housing is a very dirty playing company and unless you like chasing your money and paying for materials, labor, liens, court filings, attorneys just to get paid, I'd avoid at all cost!

They play with words and paperwork and they WILL try to KILL YOU AND YOUR KIDS ( I know this from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE) if you let them they lie and do what they want. Tuesday they told me something for the first time and my landlord reply was “ ok I am starting your eviction process now.” Therefore I was PUNKED into allowing it today. They fumes are CRAZY, they lied and said that I would leave so they could do it. How y’all wanted to do it Tuesday NO ONE EVER MENTIONED US LEAVING but the Landlord had the nerve to tell me what was unsafe Duh?!?! She refused to come take a whiff. Where are my kids going to eat or sleep. Fire department said it MIGHT take a week. Housing told me no fumes at all you will STILL BE ABLE TO ISE TOILET BECAUSE YOU ARE POTTY TRAINING. These people do NOT care about helping people. If this had to be done sooo bad why this is my FIRST time hearing about it. The DAY I got notified was the day they tried to do it and I said no. But he got me with the IM STARTING THE PROCESS ON YOU. Wasn’t I suppose to get something in writing first??? Honestly it’s not safe for a city to be run by people who brag about who and what they were and brag about how long they been in this. Most of them will tell you....... I been here 30 years.........really 30 years of crookedness is NOTHING to brag about.

I live at 1620 99th ave in Oakland Ca 94603 with Marilyn Bolden my rent is 400.00 a month and other people stay here to and pay rent too, her p.g.e is off and was off before about a month and a half ago. She smokes crack cocaine and drinks all kinds off liquor. I gave her $1,400 hundred dollar for my rent when I got my settlement so I would not have to pay every month,and she is still trying to charge me and she owe me hundreds of dollars that I loaned she, and she never paid me back. And she do every body like that.
