I've been on this waiting list since 2013. It's 2018. Still no home available and it's only my son and myself. All the funding provided yearly & I've yet to be offered any services other than a waiting list. "(

The staff communicates well, if something need to be done they try theybest to do it on time. I have no pest issues Thank God!! I feel long as you follow your lease agreement and rules that's implemented, everything will be cool,even though i hate cutting grass thats my only issue.

As a resident in public housing in the Thornton housing development this place is run and managed like a jail without the bars. Just know that you can have have your picture taken or be followed around by other tenants like Aisha Tigges that will report back to Tracy Jackson who is the manager at this development. Also know if you get in good with Tracy she will invite you to her home for drinks and a party as I have witnessed or she will hire you to do some side work for her around her house to further reduce your rent. I know their is a couple Peter Ishmel and his wife Margie from the Thornton Housing Development who frequently work for her around her home and at the Housing Development and provide information to the front office about other tenants. Also know if you complain to the front office about things that need to be fixed in your unit or about the mice or the occasional floors form the sewer system backing up in your house you will find a lease violation on your door the next day without fail. Again this is something I have witnessed happen to three different residents who are now afraid of being evicted because they complained thinking the front office would fix the issue. So beware of this place if you chose to move out here and know how you can quickly find your self homeless or always getting a lease violation for one thing or another no matter how petty the issue. Also know that the Public Works has issued a notice to not drink the water due to contamination in the area, it took a media report for the Housing Authority to give clean water to its residents after they where exposed by channel 13 news.

Well it's true the front office workers are rude when picking up a application or asking questions....I was lucky to get a place in low income housing... quite street, Not any more 👉ghetto south side gang member chicks getting places left to right, Things like their gang activity should also be screened...I no low income is not luxury but its supposed to be safe. It's not im being bullied and threatened often. Its getting so bad im thinking of moving..YES I'VE REPORTED THESE PROBLEMS.. AFTER HOURS, LOUD NOICE, SMOKING, FIGHTING, TENANTS NOT ON THE LEASE. NO HELP😞😤😯😱😢
