Office Depot

I ordered some invitations to be printed, and picked up at this location. When I walked in last week, I went straight to the pick-up counter and greeted the young girl who was working with a smile. She was chatting with another one of the staff, and gave me a horrible look as if I'd just interrupted something important. The whole rest of the interaction felt awkward and rushed. She was very rude to me when I mistakenly gave her the wrong name, as someone else had placed the order - even when I corrected myself and apologized, she rolled her eyes at me. I chose this location for pick-up due to its close proximity to my house. I've shopped at Office Depot for years and have never had a bad experience. This girl has changed all of that. I will never be going back to this location again. I do not believe that a customer should walk into a business in a happy mood, and leave in a bad one. Customer service is about making your customers feel important, and helped. That is the opposite of what this girl did to me, and I won't be back.

Would have been three stars, maybe four, but today dropped the rating to 1. Was asked to wait while the staff person was on a 15 minute break. Emp'ee came back 25 minutes later. Hoped to have additional copies of a flyer printed on appropriate paper but emp'ee was unable to find the file that had been used to print the document the previous evening. Though I had been a business customer for a couple of years, emp'ee was unable to find either my business name or personal name and kept me waiting for another 15 minutes while looking for the information,. Was quite disappointed and will use Kinko's for my next job.

Poor customer service and rude employees. I was just looking at a desk in the store. We walked to the front and the Girl at the register asked one of the other employees to help us with the desk (they need to pull it from the back) He answered in front of us saying "Can't someone else do it?" So someone else walked up to the other register to help someone that came up after we were there. He made a rude comment to my wife that they with with customers and we would just have to wait. (He said it in a rude nasty tone). This was about 10 minutes after the other guy couldn't be bothered. Needless to say we walked out after waiting 20 minutes. I found it on Amazon while I was sitting and realized it was selling for $111 on prime instead of the $200 they were selling it for. I would have just bought it if they were not so rude and ignorant.

Wonderful store. Very nice selection of items and they usually have some sort of sale going on at one time or another. Staff is always nice and friendly.
