Disappointing! The rice was falling apart in the “fancy” nigiri and the fish lacked color. We had to throw a lot of it.
Nice staff and fresh sushi. I like the way they packed to go order. They use speacial rice to enhance the flavor of sushi. Unfortunately they just have only one table in case you want to sit.
chef monthly special on plastic card. 23$ rice good. tuna not so fresh. rice bed under sushi tough to manage into mouth without breaking we ate outside. Roll was So barely filled w salmon. over all. so disappointed won’t ever go back. spicy hotate appetizer nice.
Food is great, above expectation for sure, but I saw one of the sushi chef wearing mask but not covering his mouth and nose, his mask was on his chin...
Amazing sushi, every piece had a different flavor, the service and attention to detail here are top notch. The pictures below are the $35 option which is served with fish broth sweet baby Jesus it was so good. Also, it’s BYOB!
I'd recommend to go all out here. It's small place, great care in the food, and grat/tip free establishment. Better sushi out there, but Kyoto style is unique.
Good tasting food. The cauliflower soup was a real standout.
8 pieces of classic nigiri omakase for $22.95 Their side dishes, shungiku & yuba and satsumaio which are $3.95 are also great!
