Olmsted Medical Center FastCare Clinic - North

I want to start off by saying the staff here is incredibly smart and sweet. I'm just writing this for the out-of-towners who may not have known what I now know. I'm not from this state. I'm visiting and got sick. I know how I am when I feel this way and it usually either works two ways. I get sick and it lasts for weeks or I go to the doctors get antibiotics and it kicks it In the but in a few days. I hardly ever get sick and when I do I usually wait it out. But this time I'm on vacation. I don't want to be sick. So I went in to hopefully get antibiotics. I found out that there is a 10 day waiting period usually for this. They want to ensure that it is a bacterial infection that needs antibiotics so they want a ten day waiting period. That makes sense. I'm not denying that. But I and I assume most people who live out of this state who go in and get a prescription if they are experiencing a cold in which they feel the need for them don't know this. If I would have known I wouldn't have paid 50 dollars to just get my symptoms taken down. Who would? So if it's a cold and it hasn't been 10 days don't bother.

Great service. Was quick visit because of online reservation. Great explanation on what was going on and treatment plan.
