OMG so fabulous! Went here for a day trip and did the 4.5 mile loop hike through the dunes and on the beach. Saw red legged frogs, heard chorus frogs (saw their tadpoles) and a bunch O’ banana slugs. The hike has some really nice dune sections, forest sections and of course the beach. Moderate hike, perfect for a family saunter.

This was one of the coolest experiences! The sand dunes were gorgeous, you can rent ATVs and really explore everything. “Riding Dirty Rentals” was super close and cheap. You can’t get down to the beach on an atv but there are plenty of things to check out! I definitely have to plan a trip back.

Such a cool place to visit. Some amazing views where dunes meet lakes. Also some fantastic places to go sand boarding and ATVing

Nice place to go spend a few minutes to the whole day. Really easy access from US 101. Reasonable price for a day parking pass, only $5.

So much fun. Bought a flag and an $11 OHV tag from a local motorcycle shop, air'd down my tires and spent two days exploring the trails and dunes in my F250. I'll be back here many more times. Stayed at the South Jetty RV park and was blown away at how pretty some areas were.
