Outta the Way Cafe

If I had to sum up OotWC, it would be that it's 'okay'. Depending on what get will determine your satisfaction with the food. The Caesar salad was disappointing. There should have been twice as much lettuce for it to truly be a meal salad rather than a side. The dressing was okay, but nothing special. For the amount given, I felt like the pricing of the onion rings should have been 6 dollars, not 8. The hamburgers are pretty good, as are the fries. The chicken tenders are generous and tasty. The chili, however, was disappointing, as was the tomato soup. What keeps us going back is the fact they're open late. :-D They aren't bad, just not great, and sometimes inconsistent (I've had several times where my order had something missing or was not quite correct) Also, they are extremely nice there. I've never had a bad experience with the people who work there. From the times I've walked in there, they have great music.

I have been going here for many years. If you think it will be Ruth Chris without the price tag, it won't. What it will be is fine food & your favorite beverage at a very reasonable price. They deliver consistently with a friendly & welcoming atmosphere. Many very long term employees make this so. BTW, check out their calendar of entertainment. This place is very 'out of the way' for me; however, well worth the adventure.

It is a neat place. It was a little crowded due to football playoffs. The waitress was awesome. The food is your typical American style with little to no veggies. Due to the crowd, the food was not hot, but not unacceptable. We will probably try again when it is warmer outside.

This was a great little find. When we got there we were greeted and seated promptly. Everyone was pretty friendly and the food was great. My wife had the Reuben and she said it was great. My son had the steak tacos and they were all very good. I had Chip's wings and they were also very good, although they could have used a touch more sauce. Overall it was an excellent meal and we will definitely be back.

Went on the mother's day buffet special, the staff and cooks were very nice and friendly. The food was good, standard American breakfast things alongside some other ethnic dishes that paired well with the entire production.
