Clyde's Tower Oaks Lodge

Extremely accommodating. I follow a different eating lifestyle that people find uncommon. I called in beforehand to ask about the ingredients to make sure they were okay and Chef Derek told me what I can/can't eat. The day I went, the waitress was extremely helpful. Even until dessert, she remembered and made aware that I couldn't eat this certain dessert because it contained an ingredient I didn't eat. Overall accommodating and they have a lot of knowledge of their food and care about their customers.

Tower Oaks offers a gorgeous setting where it's easy to forget you're in a heavily built-up suburb. It's especially pretty when it's snowing. The food is a mix of American seafood, steaks, and pasta, and pub fare. It's generally well-executed and the service is consistently good. Vegetarian options are hit or miss. Desserts are varied and big enough to share, and include some great options, like bread pudding. They also offer "grown-up milkshakes" which may be worth a visit in their own right.

We frequent Clyde's about once a month and have always been pleased with the food and the service. The lobster during the month long special is a treat and we're there probably 2 or 3 times then. Oyster during happy hour is a must from time to time. And ask for the sauteed spinach with your lumpy crab cakes.

Nicest Clyde's in the area (I like the fishing theme). I've been to most of them for business lunches or dinners. Food is good. Alcohol and beer selections are good and the wait staff is friendly and attentive.

Wonderfully consistent place. Comfort food menu. Late hours. Half priced wine bottles on Mondays. Excellent brunch, accomodates groups or individuals, friendly, easy parking plus valet. Been going for years and they keep it fresh. The decor is very heavily "lodge" but every place needs something.
