Brickside is my "Cheers". Been going here for years and so have many of my local friends. I live in the neighborhood and this is one of the best bars/restaurants in Downtown Bethesda/Woodmont Triangle.
Great service, drink and food selections, happy hour specials, late nite menu and perfect for watching any sports with multiple TVs and a massive projector screen.
Tyler, Pat and Matt are some of the best Bartenders in Bethesda. If you haven't been here, def check it out! #thankmelater

I have eaten here at lunch and for dinner and the service is vastly different. At lunch when it is empty is actually not great service but at night the service improves. The food is fantastic though if you can mind be forgotten by the server.

Nice little place, but really loud music. Not somewhere you can have a good conversation unless you feel like screaming it. Drinks and service are average.

We went for my husbands birthday last night. It was our first time there and we had a large party. Everyone from the GM, asst GM, and servers were very accommodating!!! They all made sure we were taken care of! The food was delicious, especially the buffalo dip!! Everyone was very pleased with the service and food! We will be coming back! Cheers to Brickside!!

I've been to Brickside a few times, generally uneventful. Pretty standard bar food, generally speaking, but the experience we had the other night made me vow to never return here.
Our friend has a peanut allergy. Nothing on the menu is listed as containing peanuts. She ordered the Barbacoa tacos. As soon as she'd finished the first one, she realized something was wrong. She started to her mouth started to feel itchy.
She asked the waiter if there were any peanuts in the taco, somehow, (because who puts peanuts in a barbacoa taco, right?) and the waiter said "Not to my knowledge, but I'll check with the kitchen". Turns out, they use peanut butter in the preparation of the meat.
We complained to the manager (his name is Jason), concerned for the other people with allergies who may frequent Brickside. He did not apologize. They offered to call an ambulance, but that's where the niceties ended. He said, "We're following the law..." as though that was supposed to make up for the fact that our friend was breaking out into hives.
She went to the emergency room later that evening. They didn't even comp us the barbacoa tacos which caused the whole mess.
I'm guessing they're not going to want to cover the emergency room bill, either.
