Pain Care Specialists

I have suffered back pain for many years. I've used chiropractic adjustments to get by. After seeing Dr Chen and receiving injections in my lower back, I have had zero back pain. I had this done on 12/16/21 and today is June 14, 22. It seems miraculous to be completely pain free. I have had to adjust to that, my body "remembers" the pain and wants to stand up slowly and move cautiously.........I don't have to do that anymore. Thank You Dr Chen!!!

I have to be comfortable with my doctor. I looked around and had meetings with a ton of doctors before I met Dr. Chen, he is a great doctor! We have great conversations. He understands all my concerns and helps me address them. I highly recommend him. He's one of the good ones that cares. Thank you to this wonderful clinic in Oregon!

This is the best care I have ever had in my life. The front staff is organized and efficient and Dr. Chen - well I don't know what to say - he is really amazing. He is an exceptional listener and he continues to modify my treatments to address my changing needs. His treatments have significantly reduced my pain and increased my mobility. Life wouldn't be the same without him!!! Thank you so much!!!

Truthfully, I was reluctant to go to a ‘pain clinic’ because I wasn’t looking for pain medications and the very idea of it seemed negative to me. My internist recommended this office and after sitting on the referral for months, I reluctantly made an appointment. My back story is years of a bad back and several surgeries. I’m very healthy except for orthopedic problems. I have been seen four times by Dr Poly Chen and received two injections. Dr Chen has been so nice, thorough, and moreover, he seems to genuinely care. The two injections have lessened my sciatic type pain considerably. I was reluctant to have more steroid infections in my spine because the last two I had elsewhere were so painful and because of that, I was apprehensive, I had sedation which was very effective, and more so than the IV sedation I had elsewhere. The entire staff has been kind and respectful. I appreciate them for being professional and very up to date. I especially like the patient portal and being able to reach the office via text. Pain clinics get a bad rap, but this place isn’t like the image I had. I hope to not need this place in the long haul but am grateful there are doctors like Dr Chen and his colleagues. They are 100% professional.

Dr. Chen really listened to me, saw my symptoms and encouraged me to pursue a diagnosis with specialists. So, after 26 years I finally have an official diagnosis. Thanks to Dr. Chen's novel treatment I've been able to avoid double knee replacement surgeries for over 2 years and counting. Dr. Chen is a blessing and I thank God I found his practice. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and compassionate towards patients.

I made an appointment here before reading these reviews. I thought about cancelling but figured I might as well see for myself...so glad I did. Beautiful facility with large waiting room and very professional staff. They were quick to schedule my initial appointment and follow on MRI which they do in-house. Treatment was initially scheduled for a few weeks after my first visit but they contacted me within a week to offer a much earlier appointment after other patients cancelled. Very happy with the treatment I've received so far and I would highly recommend Pain Care Specialists of Oregon.

I appreciate the care I receive from Pain Care Specialist of Oregon. They are professional and care about my health issues.The front desk ladies are always friendly and get me checked in quickly. The nurses are knowledgeable, respectful and caring. Dr. Don Winder has been great in helping me find the right doctors for my neurological issues due to Chronic Lyme Disease and the complications and pain it's causing. I respect his input and he seems to respect mine. Dr. Don is also mindful to the fact I do not have health insurance, doctors, labs, etc get very expensive so I appreciate his mindfulness. All in all I am very happy with the care I receive from Pain Care Specialist of Oregon.

I was really nervous when I went into the clinic for my procedure, who likes needles in the face. Not this chick. When I was checking in the receptionist took such great care of me. Her name is Ashley, she could see I was nervous and got me laughing and calmed me down before I went back into the appointment. She answered every question I had, very knowledgeable and was quick to make sure my next appointment was scheduled. Absolutely amazing receptionist. 10/10!

Clinic is always busy but everyone is so efficient. Staff are attentive and the doctors are always on time. I like that they value patient's time in this office. As per my treatment, everything is improving. I had my pain level decreased to 70% and I'm very positive that it will decrease more on my next visit.

I woke up with a smile on my face because I found hope for my chronic pain. I've been suffering from extreme back pain for more than 12 years and this is the first time I ever felt relief! Got my injections yesterday and will wait for another treatment they are planning for me. I like that the Doctors are very informative and honest. Dr. Cho is very nice and caring.
