I've been with WFMC since 1997, and I've always had wonderful care. I've always had a great relationship with the few doctors I've had over the time I've been with them. My three pregnancies I stayed with them for my care and had special needs that they made sure to stay on top of. Over the years I've needed specialty Care and they I've done a great job of finding a specialists in the area, also staying on top of the results that I get from each specialist. All my children have gone here as well since birth and I've had wonderful pediatric care. Wonderful feeling to be able to stay with one provider for over 20 years of my life.
I've been a patient since WFMC opened and have always received compassion and efficient care. I rarely wait for an appointment, even during flu season, prescriptions are refilled quickly and messages are passed on and replied to accurately and expediently. I've been impressed with all the medical providers but feel especially blessed to have Dr. Olivia Galvez. I can't say enough good things about WFMC.
I’ve always had problems with this health center but this time is the last time i come here, every visit my experience was horrible no communication didn’t even know why i was there when i been told her and the nurse all of my concerns and checked only for my blood pressure and took a whole hr when that wasn’t even my concern and then to top it all off called me by a different person name. how does my own doctor not know my name you guys have all the paperwork. it’s clear you guys can’t do your job right and it’s sad i don’t know my doctors name because it’s irrelevant now but it’s the elderly woman with glasses she might have dementia because girl cannot remembers her clients names this isn’t the first person it happened to
They give you the run around, and are rude as can be. Everyone from the person you have to wait four weeks to speak with to be even allowed a new patient appointment, to the scheduler, to the person who checks your in, person who takes you back/vitals, to the Dr who doesn't care about any of your concerns and is incredibly rude. Every single person in this building treated us with rudeness and unkindness I've never experienced such horrible treatment from EVERYONE at a company in my entire life. Ever wonder why every other pediatric practice never has openings for new patients but WFMC always does...? Well it's no longer a mystery to me! ***Edit response to WFMC comment: I'm sure you would love this to be handled offline and therefore out of public sight. I however would much rather warn other parents to take their children elsewhere. You clearly have some toxic workplace culture for so many people to have treated us this way. I can only imagine if they treat us this way to our faces what's going on behind patients backs.
I've been a patient here for decades. With the retirement of a couple of senior doctors, the patient services have declined immeasurably. I'm currently waiting over 1/2 an hour now in the building for an RX I called in 6 days ago. It seems there is an "assistant" with a need for power here.
In my experience and opinion Dr. Ortega doesnt provide the best quality care . No conversation and dismisses your concerns and time spent is about 5 minutes it’s always been like this with this particular doctor I feel like it’s due to my ohp that he treats struggling families like nothing… I miss doctor balmer he always made me feel heard and cared for I been going here since I came to oregon age 8 I’m 28 now so 20 years
I'm not sure what's changed, this place used to be great. Now when I call to try and set up an appointment they transfer me to a medical assistant who invalidates any symptoms I share and seems to be taking it upon themselves to gatekeep access to healthcare. I am upset and concerned about what's going on. I asked to schedule an appointment in advance and they refused, telling me I would have to call back on that day and set up a same day appointment if I wished to be seen.
I really like and appreciate my Dr, Dr Nnodum has been nice, kind, caring and attentive to my needs. I was a postpartum mess when I came in a year ago for help, she listened and im much much better now. I also suffer from anxiety and was afraid to talk at first but her nice demeanor made me feel comfortable and now I have no problem opening up about my mind and body problems. She really is great! Thank you Dr Nnodum!
I had my prenatal care done here with Kristen Jamsa starting spring of 2021, and then delivered my baby at Salem General in January with the hospital staff which also went great. Kristen and all the staff I encountered were always friendly and helpful. I had a pretty non-problematic pregnancy so didn't need to much TLC haha. This clinic is really on top of appointment reminders, and I never had to wait long in the lobby for my set appt time they also have a koi pond my toddler liked to look at when she came with me. My newborn has gone there for pediatric care thus far, as well as had his circumcision done by Dr. Centerwall who was very informative & caring for my son at that time.
I have been with WFMC for years. I have had nothing but excellence from every single person from the front desk to medical assistants to physicians. They are friendly, professional, they care about you as a person, not just a number walking through the door. Dr. Galvez remembers even things I have shared with her from years in the past about family members of mine in a different state. If anyone had a bad experience with this wonderful Clinic, I urge you to give them another try. I can't say enough good about them. Also, they are very thorough in assessments and examinations and if you need to be seen by a specialist for anything, they will make the referral for you. Nobody likes to spend their day at a doctor's office, but if you need one, this is the best one to go to.
