Park Plaza cinema is a cozy three cinema complex with a full bar and small personalized restaurant managed by the owners who are always on site to greet you. For persons wishing to purchase alcoholic beverages you will need to confirm your age as they have a strict policy on serving alcohol.
The Park Plaza Cinema has some of the most charming and attentive staff that warmly greets you with smiles and cheerfulness.
The seating is modern reclining cinema seating with individual tables and drink holders. it features all of the latest movies and also hosts premier evenings from time to time.
Bathrooms are clean, dry and regularly visited to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the next crowd of moviegoers. Our visit there was worth the 5 stars.

The theatre is small, cute, and the movie was fantastic. Other than that it was a hugely annoying visit. My sister and I went in to see Avengers: Infinity War (highly recommend the movie, it was great). When we went inside the female owner was behind the concession stand and was fairly short with us (she wasn’t rude but clearly isn’t a pro at customer service). We were pleased that two tickets, a drink, and popcorn was under $20 however when we got to our seats to watch the movie we had to sit through some very strange commercials/advertisement for the theatre. There were multiple times throughout the movie that the owner or other employees would come in with flashlights trying to deliver food. It’s rather frustrating to be interrupted multiple times by a flashlight, or someone asking if you ordered a chili dog, while you’re trying to enjoy the movie.
I guess one of their “selling points” is they allow dogs in the theatre. There were dogs growling through the movie and even started barking at one point. I love dogs but I’m not bringing them to a movie theatre where there’s food and other people trying to relax and enjoy themselves. I would recommend that they do away with the dog policy and trying to serve food during the middle of a movie. Until that happens we will go elsewhere.

I love going to the movies, but this was way better than normal. If I lived in or near Hilton Head, I would go here every chance I could get. It is an exceptional value! Let's just start with the chairs- enormous, red, plush, and don't just recline but are able to lay all the way back if you would feel so inclined. ;)
By far put other reclining chair theaters I've been to to shame. Plus a large swiveling tray to keep all your snacks on. The concessions were reasonably priced. Plus they have "real food" (bar food) that you can eat in a lovely cafe setting or take right into the show. I'm not much of a drinker, but it was vacation, so I ordered a glass of Moscato and that was the best tasting wine I've ever had! They also had the best fried dill pickle chips. They were so crispy and perfect. And only $5! The portion for the pickles was a little small and I wish we had ordered 2 instead of one, but overall this place was such a great value! Under $10 for a ticket and you don't have to pay extra to get to eat in the theater like you do in a theater near my hometown. This place is a gem!

Having finished all our touristy stuff and too sunburnt to go back to the beach, we went to see Ready Player One at Park Plaza Cinemas. The small setting was intimate but nice, and they had a lot of choices for concessions. The reclining chairs were a huge plus. Unfortunately, the cleaning crew had left the theater's phone in there and it went off a few times during the show. The staff were super apologetic and gave us free movie passes immediately (which we were able to use before we left town). The second time around was just as nice, and no phones went off, thankfully. Thank you for the experience!

One of the best theaters I've been to! I love the overall space and atmosphere. The owners are so kind and greet you into the theater as if it's their home! My boyfriend drive 35 minutes every Tuesday to get the $5 movie tickets. There are places closer to us that also do $5 tickets for students, but we choose Park Plaza because of the size, atmosphere, seats, owners and food! I would recommend this theater to everyone, especially for the Tuesday night $5 tickets!
