The Regal Cinemas at Azalea Square is typically the place my wife and I go to enjoy a night out that includes a first run movie. The Theater seating is nice and comfortable with ample room, Great Sound and an overall enjoyable experience.
The concession stand offers a nice variety but we usually just stick to popcorn and sodas. Of course they are overpriced, like every other theater, but that is how they make their money. Why else would you charge $14 for a bucket of popcorn that has a cost of $0.84. We know they aren't making a lot of money from showing the movie because most of that goes to line the pockets of the overpaid Hollywood stars, writers, directors, and everyone else. Have you seen the long credits at the end of a movie. They have a lot of people that they are paying based on my 10 or $15 ticket purchase. So I don't mind paying the extra money for popcorn, sodas, or Junior Mints ( they are very refreshing). Although, our plan next time we go to a movie is to take our own bottled sodas, Junior Mints, and smart pop in my wife's purse. Yes, it will have to be her big purse and we will have to empty it before we fill it with our contraband..... hey, times are tough.

I went to the movies on Saturday night to see ,"A Quiet Place". The employees wee very efficient, pleasant and helpful. The concessions stand was easy to navigate and I was able to get my items quickly. The theater was very clean and the seats were very comfortable. Always a great place to see a movie. You can never have a bad seat with stadium seating.

It's a little behind the design times with other theaters adding posh reclining seats and remodeled locations for the same price. Ticket sales clerk would fit better in a library, no interest in even a response to "Hey, how are you" just blank stare. Concessions workers are swamped. I think they need more help back there, but they were friendly and nice.

They have a hard time keeping up.
My wife and I went on a Tuesday evening 7pm show, was surprised by how busy it was. The theater almost couldn't handle it. Thinly staffed, it was obvious they had let some standards slip in an effort to keep up with demand.
In the lobby there was popcorn all over the floor near the concession stand, rolling candy racks were 3/4 empty, and the team members just seemed overloaded.
That being said, the film presentation was great! Auditorium was clean, picture and sound were excellent (this was not a "premiere" event, movie had been out a couple of weeks so it was one of the smaller venues). Because the presentation was so good, and my wife and I had a great time, that is why this theater earned 4 stars.

Bummed that they have yet to get the reclining seats like other locations in the state. We went and saw an over two hour movie and would have enjoyed the comfort of the updated amenities. No major complaints aside from that. We don't live in the area so we probably won't choose this place again when visiting until they get a remodel.
