Ok....the best surprise of my week, maybe my month. I have passed by this place numerous times, but never gone in. The parking area is fairly small, and the seating area has maybe 7 tables. I could tell their business is mainly carry out. Small lobby and window to order the food. If you want soul food on the northwest side of Milwaukee, this is the place. I had BBQ beef ribs, black eyed peas, candied sweet potatoes and corn bread. All fresh, all home made. One thing was better than the next. I will be back!!!

This restaurant has soul. Every time I come to get a meal the owners welcome me and makes me feel like family. This is a gem in Milwaukee.

The yams were not fully cooked the sweet potato pie was lumpy the meatloaf and red beans were great my wifes pork chops were very thin and over cooked will not be goin back

Very friendly and fast service. Amazing food! Very good seasoning! The greens are amazing! Absolutely love it! Better then your moms! Sorry mom!
