I have waited almost 4 years to write this review. It has taken me this long to compose myself as my husband died there after only 20 days of their abuse and neglect! I beg you DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE, IT IS HORRIBLE. We found his meds in his bed and on the floor. He was NEVER bathed and they dropped him trying to get him to the bathroom. I walked in one day to find him lying on the floor talking to 911. The staff didn't even know he fell out of bed. I have 25 pages og typed notes of their abuse and photos. Treating him with the wrong medication for a UTI, not filling his water, not treating a horrendous rash properly, not given IV on time. He was hallucinating and no one cared. The doctor was pathetic. The morning he died they knew his BP was very low and he was very weak and still they left him alone. The nursing assistants were useless, uncaring, lazy and neglectful. They are very short staffed. I believe his autopsy that I insisted on having was incomplete and faulty as no toxicology was done. I believe doctors, Peak, the Medical examiner and hospital conspired to cover their own asses of his negligent and abusive care. Don't let the pretty building and other pretty areas fool you. The patient care tells a whole different story.

I have a friend that was admitted after knee surgery. He was left in bed the entire day he was admitted. The staff is not friendly. The response from the nurses are slow when request are made. I would not recommend my animal to come here. Please don't bring your family here. Novant Orthopedic Hospital should be ashamed for having this place on their list as rehabilitation places to send after surgery.

The 1st night the nurse had an attitude and the place smells like strong piss. Thinking about moving my mom ASAP. Never AGAIN..

Don't walk but run, from this shop of horror. I had knee surgery and needed a skilled nursing facility , for my rehab. I never witnessed so much neglect, number one, they don't have enough staff, and what they have only a few know there job. I want this center investigated, because I just can't tell you all I went through. For this center to receive Medicare and Medicaid some of the administration, need to be replaced and I am going to see if I can help this happen.

Nice people & great place. They are really doing a good job helping my mom.
